Kipit was created based on our own personal necessity of keeping the food in the kitchen and pantry, fresh & crisp.
As many of us, food waste in our country and many others around the world is a colossal problem. We think some of the waste is due to irresponsible or careless behavior of some people, but not always. Then there are those who simply lack the knowledge to preserve food better. When food spoils we lose not only the food itself, but money and resources as well.
